Properties
Sodium bicarbonate (bi-carb, baking soda), a natural substance that is crystalline but often appears as a fine powder. It is a component of the mineral natron, and is found dissolved in many mineral springs. This alkaline substance has antibacterial, antifungal, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. It is a natural deodoriser.
